Rescue for Working at Heights - Essential Level

The program is not about complicated rescue techniques but using ladders, elevation devices and pre-packaged hauling and decent systems to expedite the rescue of a worker held in a precarious situation. This training program follows the ministry guidelines to ensure your company is compliant with the rescue requirements section of the Working at Heights regulation.

This course demonstrates how to pre-plan and execute basic rescue strategies which are compliant with the Chief-Prevention Officer (CPO's) requirements for Working at Heights. This regulation requires companies to provide on-site emergency rescue when their employees use fall protection equipment and systems while working at heights.

Whether you work in construction, infrastructures management or are involved in any type of installation or maintenance that requires your team to work at heights, employees are required by regulations to have an on-site rescue plan ready for immediate implementation which includes equipment as well as trained personal to respond.
