Confined Space Rescue Training

At Partner Safety, our focus is to provide our clients with the necessary knowledge to develop rescue plans and technical rescue skills to initiate rescue operations including extraction of a stranded worker from a confined space.

Upon completion of the program, participants will have the required hands-on experience and knowledge required to be compliant with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act rescue requirements during confined space work.

  • Basic 4:1 Rope Systems 
  • Artificial anchor including tripod
  • Victim backboarding and immobilization
  • SKED rescue system (Horizontal and Vertical)
  • Advanced rescue scenarios

Technician Level

40hr

Cost: $840.00

All the topics covered in the Intermediate Level plus:

  • Rope system for confined space rescue
  • Artificial High Directional 
  • Patient stabilization & packaging 
  • Supplied air breathing system
  • Comprehensive rescue scenarios
  • Competency test

Is this course for me?

These courses are applicable for anyone whose work necessitates them to enter a confined space to rescue a co-worker in Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health (IDLH) situation.
